Whether you are just visiting for a quiet beer and to watch the football, or to listen to live music or you’re coming with friends to enjoy a freshly cooked meal, we endeavour to make everyone feel welcome and want to ensure that everyone has a time to remember. We hold regular seasonal events throughout the year. The King’s Head is home to some of the finest pub food around, and we have an excellent selection of fine ales which are Cask Marque accredited.
The Garrison Savannah Suite function room and skittle alley is available for private hire for Weddings, Christenings, Birthday Parties, Wakes and other forms of family and social gatherings. There are also facilities for conferences, seminars, forums, sales meetings, product launches and open days. A bespoke catering service is also available.
Here at The King’s Head, we like to make everyone feel welcome, to ensure at enjoyable experience. We treat everyone like a friend and part of the family.
We have many large events including our annual cider and ale festival and family fun days in the summer, our regular nights include skittles, live music and live sports shown on our TVs. We show Racing UK, Sky and BT SPORT on our televisions, including outside in our ample beer garden on our all-weather TV in our large undercover smoking area. Or, if you’re visiting us on a Sunday, why not take part in our meat, drink and chocolate raffle to bag yourself something delicious to take home. On the first Sunday of the month, we also offer a £50 cash prize – not to be missed!
Our function room is ideal for parties, wedding receptions and conferences, with ample space available for large groups. The function suite also has a projector screen and skittle alley available on request. We have customers come to us from all over the local region, many choosing to return to us for functions or just for a friendly drink; such is the high standard of our customer service and quality of food and drink.
All of our staff are fully trained, with many of them holding full food hygiene certificates and personal alcohol licenses for your complete peace of mind.
